Hi there! I’m Laura and I’m going places!

I’m a travel blogger and student in my late thirties living in East Sussex, in the UK, with my partner (Ben) and my cat (Alfie).

I live on the edge of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in South East England, and I’m passionate about discovering all that my area has to offer, from ancient landscapes to modern art. When I’m not exploring close to home, I love to travel further afield – anything from a city break to a relaxing beach holiday, and ideally a bit of both.

This blog will feature a mixture of all of the above, as well as ideas for planning trips, and probably a few budgets thrown in for good measure.

I’m also a History and Art History student, studying with the Open University. I will probably write a bit about my experiences studying remotely and maturely(?) at some point, too.
